Friday Night - 7:00

Beginning Knitting - taught by Meleri verch Adam - Learn to cast on, do the "knit" stitch, and cast off.  
Knitting is fun, relaxing, and portable.  Best of all, you definitely have 
something to show for your time!  You can make many things with just the 
three steps you will learn (scarves, baby blankets, pot holders, kitchen 
towels).  Knitting needles and yarn will be provided for you to use and take 
home

*This class is limited to 5 students ages 10 or older who will agree to help the little ones in the class on Saturday morning

Storytelling - taught by Cybella la Joyeuxe - listen to stories and learn the Story Sticks game

9:30 - 10:30

Making Mold Impressions- taught by Eros the Nameless -  Come learn the techniques of carving a mold of your very own design in plaster blocks and make impressions to take home in play-doh.  Learn how to make tokens, jewelry, favors, and more.  These same techniques you learn now, can be used in metal casting later on, so invest in your future, you budding artist you!

10:30 - 11:00

Design Your Device (Shield)" workshop taught by Rosamund Playfayre

11:00 - 12:00

Beginning Heraldry - taught by THL Alexander Ravenscroft -

12:00 - 2:00  lunch break - All children must be picked up promptly

2:00 - 3:00 

Shaking and Shimmying - taught by Elpeth of Talmere - The Do's and Do Not's of of how to shimmy and move and how to behave at a hafla. Basic movements for Boys and Girls.

3:30 - 3:30

Period Tag Games taught by Yves de Fortanier -Tag! Let's all play some of those games of Tag that you read about in Penfeathers. All ages are welcome.


3:30 - 4:30

Court heraldry taught by Yves de Fortanier - Let's learn about doing court! We'll have a pretend court with some pretend awards that we make up. It's fun! Then we'll learn some more about historical courts and courts in the SCA. All ages are welcome.
